WEB SALES ASSOCIATE (Current Employee) – Sarnia, ON – February 17, 2015
I have been with Future Shop for a very long time. There is always room there for advancement and also just movement if you need a change of scenery. At my specific location in Sarnia, the staff is pretty much like family. We help each other out when necessary and we all spend time together outside of work as well. The salary and benefits are competitive and sufficient. All in all, a great place to work!!
Future shop is a fairly well run and fun to work at business

Setup customers laptop (Former Employee) – Young and Eglinton – January 14, 2016
Working at Future Shop was a great opportunity because of how I am able to work with many different kinds of computers, helped customers setup their laptops by installing what programs they need. I also got to install screen shields for customers smartphones. I learned a lot about computer problems, and helped other Future Shop workers with their situations.
Computer Sales Associate (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – February 27, 2014
A typical day at work is based entirely around interacting with customers and ensuring that they get the best product for their needs. Associates are pressured to hit targets for services such as computer setups and warranty programs. Through my experience I've learned different ways of interacting with clients and increased my knowledge about computers and related products. Management is fairly good but somewhat absent. The staff at Future Shop is great. There is an excellent staff culture based on respect for one another and a willingness to help others succeed. The most difficult part of the job is not getting enough hours to make a decent living. My hours have been cut from 5 days a week to 3 without notice. The most enjoyable part of the job is interacting with unique customers everyday. You get to meet interesting people and feel good about helping them get the right product.
