Consultants are confident, natural tech savvy leaders with background in the design and implementation of current technologies. Their mission is to keep their hands on the pulse of approximately 30 clients to ensure that each of their clients’ needs are met. This is a position where Absolute Accountability is key. Consultants should be able to light up a room while helping clients understand the benefits of a well-designed, standardized and operationally-mature environment to drive efficiency, increase productivity, and reduce risk in their business.
Consultants must possess good communication skill, and be an agile thinker, capable of handling many simultaneous complex issues calmly and with confidence - inspiring calm around you – with minimal supervision. A strong desire to build relationships with clients by earning their trust by advocating for their best business needs is essential. You must be passionate about technology, crave responsibility, and be eager to apply your knowledge and skill to mission-critical, full-production business IT infrastructures.
You will be reporting to the Director of Operations, who will work with you to determine your quarterly goals and priorities. Through your scorecard you will participate in a monthly review to assess progress on these goals and priorities. The majority of your time will spent on client sites with the remainder spent working inside our Mission Control. You will be available by telephone outside of regular business hours to provide escalation to the technical services team in the event of a business critical infrastructure outage/emergency requiring management involvement.
Your primary daily interactions will be interfacing with clients and members of the vCIO team. You will be speaking and meeting with clients on a daily basis to build our brand by ensuring an exceptional Fully Managed experience by making recommendations to reduce risks and use language that clients can understand. You provide guidance and mentoring to other staff members as well as participate in regular strategy/planning/review sessions with the vCIO team.
50% - Execute on a rhythm of fanatical attention by having a minimum of 3 quality onsite client visits per week. Clients should have no needs that you have not addressed
30% - Collect 90+ compliance points to help clients obtain the maximum Operational Maturity Level
20% - Participate in your projects for clients and be a resource to other projects when needed

7+ years of experience Creating Peace of Mind in a similar role and seeking a challenge
Possess Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and inspire those around you
Subject matter expert / advanced skill set in several key technology areas - e.g. Exchange guru or Networking expert
Possess an entrepreneurial spirit who loves a fast-paced & dynamic environment
Incredible attention to detail, passion for technology, OCD preferred, able to multitask
Multiple certifications encompassing systems and infrastructure – MCITP/CCNA highly regarded for this position
Advocate of all things Microsoft (Platforms, Servers, exchange, you name it!)
Incredible proven knowledge of VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
Other industry certifications from SonicWALL, Cisco, Dell and other tier-1 vendors are a bonus
Must be an eager go-getter willing to exceed client expectations
