Fuller Landau is a regional Chartered Accountant and Business Advisory Firm.

Position Summary:
Fuller Landau's Insolvency and Asset Based Lending Groups (ABL) are looking to add someone to these two dynamic and busy areas of their specialty practices. Previous experience in these areas is not a prerequisite but you must have a strong interest to learn, contribute and be involved in these areas. This new position will be split between the two departments as workflow requires. There will be exposure to both Insolvency and ABL. The ABL side will require travel (primarily within Canada).

Major Responsibilities:

Asset Based Lending
- Assist in specialty engagements such as ABL pre-loan surveys, ABL interim monitoring field exams and other due diligence assignments
- Review current loan terms and lender documentation
- Participate in the calculation of borrower availability based on loan terms
- Assist with the preparation of requests for information from both lenders and borrowers
- Prepare draft versions of ABL reports of test results and examination findings
- Prepare fieldwork working papers, account analysis and perform specified collateral tests
- Prepare draft reports / report sections based on test results and field exam findings
- Develop an understanding of collateral risk items which impact our client's needs
- Develop an appreciation of the asset based lending process

Insolvency/Restructuring
- Assist in the execution of corporate insolvency engagements (ie. bankruptcy, receivership proposals and consulting files)
- Draft reports and correspondence as required
- Liaise with key stakeholders
- Develop outcome analysis based on various circumstances
- May assist in administrative banking and tax return filing
- Keep current with all relevant legislation

Qualifications/Experience:
- Completed accounting designation such as a CGA
- Working knowledge of accounting cycles, computerized financial reporting systems and working capital records as well as traditional accounting and audit procedures
- Possess a problem solving mind-set combined with a logical approach
- Effective communication (verbal and written) in English
- Excellent organizational skills and with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word) and data computation skills
- Applicants must possess the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Positive outlook with an enthusiastic manner
- Solid understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work in a team environment
