Summary of Role
Emergency coverage begining April 2, 2014 with a 2 week rotation schedule at a Diamond Mine in NWT.
A broad clinical experience base needed – you will be required to support occupational health surveillance testing, as well as provide primary and emergency medical care.
Area of Responsibility
Provide routine and emergency assessment and care, promote health, safety and hygiene initiatives, medical record keeping and general administration duties to the clinic that supports the workers of a Northern Canadian Diamond Mine.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a high standard of fitness. Must be able to work under their own initiative.
Sound interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential.
Flexible availability and willingness to work on a rotational basis are assets.

Acceptable Criminal Record Check
Industrial experience in Mining is preferred with proven emergency medical and trauma care background.
Previous experience delivering remote industrial medical care is an asset.
