Office Manager/ Executive Assistant
Assistant to the Investor Relations Manager
If you are capable of running a small head office, have 2 years of experience working with shareholders (preferably within the Mining industry), have a contagious level of energy, have superior writing skills and enjoy being “in the limelight”, this role is for you!
Manage office functions to ensure the smooth operation of this corporate office;
Assist company officers in an Executive Assistant capacity as needed; and
Assist the Investor Relations Manager, whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting with developing and maintaining a company investor relations plan;
Following-up with leads generated through investor awareness campaigns;
Creating presentations, press releases, and other communication materials for web based outlets, industry events, and presentations to analysts, brokers, and investors;
Adherence to all regulatory requirements regarding the disclosure of material and non-material information and ensuring all company spokespersons adhere to the disclosure regulations;
Managing the investor relations portion of the company’s Internet sites, including all websites and social media sites including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts;
Monitoring analyst, newsletter, blog and bulletin board reports and summarizing them for senior management;
Serving as a key point of contact for the investment community;
Organizing conferences, road shows, conference calls, luncheon presentations and investor meetings;
Establishing and maintaining relationships with key new and existing investors;
The production of all annual reports, SEDAR filings, and proxy statements and other promotional materials; and
Attending trade/road shows.
Travel will be required
MUST HAVE a minimum of 2 years of experience in an investor and or public relations department preferably within the Mining industry;
You possess a BA/BSc degree;
You are a “thick – skinned”, dynamic, confident individual;
MUST HAVE superior writing/communication skills;
MUST HAVE great phone skills;
MUST BE computer savvy (emphasis on PowerPoint and Photoshop or similar) and have social media knowledge; and
MUST BE able to “roll up your sleeves” and jump in wherever needed.
