So you know that little voice in your head (flight or fight method) that whispers to you when you're about to jump head first into the rapid waters of the working world? It usually sounds like:
Well, I decided to ignore that little voice, and it became a booming regret.
First off, the typical work 'day' wasn't during the day. The lucky ones and ones who slaved for months get register positions and sales rep positions during the morning. The casual employee actually works 6:00pm until the rooster has already woken the rest of the world up for their means of existence. It required color coordination, memory, pattern memory coordination, and a bunch of other nonsensical mentalities of working in a clothing store.
The co-workers were just as reluctant to get out of bed as I was, and with that beings said were just as understanding. I am still friends with people that went through "World War Forever XXI".
I believe I have portrayed the difficulties of working there, however the good was that the work environment was in a mall and was enjoyable when there were customers; lots of diversity and needs.
I would hesitate, as an adult, to work there (if it is NOT a management position). For the younger crowd, it is a great company to begin understanding how to work for a dollar.
