Our busy, multi-disciplinary podiatric clinic is in need of an energetic and responsible individual to fill the dynamic role of Medical Office Assistant / Director of First Impressions. The successful candidate will possess strong organization and communication skills, the ability to multitask as well as be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Your Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the daily running of the clinic as well as aiding the doctors with various tasks to improve the patient experience
  • Interacting with the patients and responding to any inquiries that they may have
  • Presenting well with exceptional verbal skills
  • Detail oriented as well as the ability to multitask
  • Assist with patient registration and orientation
  • Preparing the treatment room prior to escorting in the next patient
  • Sterile prep and drawing up needles
  • Taking patient history
  • Assisting in and performing some clinical procedures under the guidance of the physician
  • Performing some clinical tests
  • Strong understanding of product knowledge needed for in-office dispensing
  • Book patient for follow-ups as deemed necessary
  • Assist with the daily up-keep and maintenance of the clinic

Qualification/Skills:

  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to keep-up with the fast pace environment
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Communicates well with others
  • Takes direction well and follows through
