AutoCAD Draftsman/Technologist (Former Employee) – Peace River, AB – 31 October 2016
A typical day at Focus (and later, WSP) would involve interesting projects, friendly and professional co-workers and management, a clearly defined yet flexible role, and where new skills - including Civil 3D operation - could be picked up.
The only real difficulty was the initial move from British Columbia (which Focus assisted with), and the most enjoyable aspect was having my own private office space.

Management is unprofessional there is no communication within the company and between co workers. They don't like you to move around within the company even though they promote advancement. If someone higher up doesn't like you they will black ball you and try and get you to quit. Disorganized

Everyday is different. I have learnt to ask questions no matter what. Do not assume. Go right to the sources instead of asking around. Co-Workers are awesome. Every department is a client and they are treated that way. The hardest pat would be getting a hold of the Project Managers if they are out of the office.
