Team Leader (Former Employee), Memphis, TN – May 4, 2013
Pros: great benefits
Cons: poor upper management
It was always busy but somewhat not very organized. The upper management team was very unpredictable . The people that still work there now don't like it they only remain there because of the pay. I will say that I learned a lot under the leadership of my direct management team. The plant managers and executive leaders were not good at all at that time.

They have a lot of unique products that are fun to test and troubleshoot.
Repair Technician 4 / Test Technician 4 (Former Employee), Creedmoor, NC – April 15, 2013
Pros: flexibility, fundraiser for united way, many free breakfast, lunches, and dinners, salaries, and bonuses, medical, dental, & vision
Cons: job security, many people laid off year after year, no where to advance to because of all the cut backs, changes made to employee handbook to restrict how much severance you receive
My last six months consisted of testing and troubleshooting Redbox kiosks that came off the production line. The type of failures I encounted ranged from defective printed circuit boards, incorrect wiring, connectors put on the wrong locations, defective pc's, defective monitors, etc.

For the almost eights that I worked there, I learned a great deal – more... about how much the world has become so dependent on self-service kiosks. Everybody wants their products yesterday. Flextronics design team did a great job zoning in on customer demands.

The co-workers are like typical co-workers in most companies. You have those who are motivated by career, some by salary, some by the misery of others. But overall, I did find most co-workers to be team players. They were willing to help others in any capacity that was needed.

There really wasn't a hard part to my job. I am a fast learner so if there was a new task that I was given, I was trained by an engineer or another technician. I took very good notes, and always worked with a test manual for the product I was testing.

The most enjoyable part of the job was being given the opportunity to travel to other states to repair or build a new product. I also enjoyed the many ways management always found a way to rewards us for our excellent on-time delivery to our customers. – less

USA Disbursement Manager (Former Employee), Milpitas, CA – March 7, 2013
Pros: good salaries and merit increases
Cons: no breask, no 'free' lunches, no opportunity to re-treck, or undo, no other alternative but to keep moving forward.
Fast-paced, Learned to work independently, experiencing fast-growth you could not find or depend on upper-management to discuss issues and learned to be a problem solver,Cultivate work relationships w/managers with authority to find solutions together,Most difficult is finding yourself in uncharted 'waters' and needing solutions to unexpected issues – more... or stumbling blocks to make progress w/deadlines.Motivate staff to keep consistent their high productivity mark when work-loads and volumes were increasing. – less

Customer Service Technician Level 2/Mentor (Former Employee), Center Valley, PA – March 7, 2013
Pros: i liked everything about the job.
Cons: the benefits were expensive.
I looked forward to going to work. I was happy with management and fellow co-workers. Each day was different because every customer's needs are unique. No two people are completely alike, which kept the job very interesting and challenging. We always had sales goals to meet, but no matter the customer came first. I learned a lot from this job. We had – more... a lot of trainings and there was exam to take on everything. It helped keep the mind fresh. I also learned to think on our feet more and solve problems in a variety of ways. The hardest part about the job was that not every customer can fully satisfied, which goes hand-in-hand with the age-old saying that nobody can please all of the people all of the time. I have a lot of good memories working for Flextronics. – less
