Member Experience Manager (Current Employee) – Stoney Creek, ON – 16 September 2017
The company lacks directions from the Executive Leadership team. The CEO loves baseball and hires people that play baseball. It's sad but that's the real truth. Promotions are given and never earned because their is no actual application process.
Change is made for the sake of change. The only benefit is that it's a local company. If this was in a bigger market, people would hesitate to work here. Many of the individuals are very set in their ways as they have been their for decades in a management capacity. They have a very big problem with the fact that their customers average age is 55 years old. They are panicing about it but fail to realize their staff is also 55 years old plus generally.
Good benefits package, good vacation, union staff are really cool
Upper Management and Human Resources. Change Management is non exsistent
MSR (Former Employee) – Niagara, ON – 3 December 2017
Branch managers don’t do their jobs, no coaching provided, no performance feedback. Only part time positions available. Inefficient Union, not there to do anything but collect fees from part time employees to benefit full time employees. Union rep is a joke, she does nothing to benefit the employees. Impossible to find assistance to do your job right. Training is minimal and poor at best. The banking system is prone to error and requires frequent cutting and pasting of information. This allows for frequent errors and lack of customer service.
Application Developer and Support Analyst (Current Employee) – Stoney Creek, ON – 6 January 2017
A very good company to work with in Stoney creek. Very Nice staff that encourages every day to give best. Hardest part is sometime system is down and we need to work for long hours and not enough specialized resource to find the solution.
Member Service Representative (Former Employee) – Oakville, ON – 28 July 2016
This company has no idea what they are doing. not worth your time, i do not recommend them to any one, they hired me for a branch that wasn't even open and let me go because it wasn't going to be opened. they took three months for the interviewing process
