Reporting directly to the VP of Legal Services and General Counsel, the paralegal is responsible for providing corporate and commercial legal support to the Company and of its subsidiaries and affiliated companies in a multinational context.

More specifically, you will have to:

Manage the corporate records of the Company and of the subsidiaries and affiliated companies; maintain the Company's numerous business and general contractor licenses in the US and Canada.
Coordination of management of the Company's large trademark and patent portfolio; preparation of cease and desist letters, trademark searches.
Provide adequate support to the company's legal department in the context of litigation files and commercial transactions involving the company, its subsidiaries or affiliated companies (drafting resolutions, contracts, etc.).
Provide legal support to the various departments of the Company and of the subsidiaries and affiliated companies.
Act as the liaison between corporate office in France with head office in North America. This includes processing request for information and documentation, cascading and communicating of policies and compliance programs etc.
Support on drafting contracts (distribution, supply, construction and installation) and other legal documents.


DEC in paralegal studies or business administration and/or bachelor in law
Minimum of three years of experience in corporate law
Ability to manage several files simultaneously
You have leadership skills and like to take initiative
You are autonomous and capable of working well under pressure, in a fast pace environment to ensure deadlines are met;
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
