Fast paced, very productive, and enjoyed the years I worked for FEDEX
Courier/Driver (Former Employee) – South San Francisco, CA – 21 September 2012
Scan and load packages onto truck, then delivered the packages in a prompt manner. I provided excellent customer service to all my customers. I learned to utilize my time, and make use of my time more efficiently. I enjoyed all my co-workers, we each had the same respect for each other, we all worked as a team, to get the job done. Management was very supportive, and would always encourage ways to improve ourselves to make the job easier. The hardest part about the job is the physical side, I have had injuries to my back and ankles. The most enjoyable part of my job, was to see a smile on my customers face, that would always make my day.
awards were given for outstanding job ethics and safety, we also used to get lunches and bbq's for our station.
Courier Delivery Driver (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 12 January 2018
Bad experience for me, start as casual could not get permanent part time, full time dont even think about it. Certain managers on power trips, 10 to 15hrs a week most of the time not even worth my drive to work. Serious favoritism, say a package handler all of a sudden gets his drivers licence and wants to be be a driver he will get a part time position before others because he was there before. So suck up like most and youll be bumpd up, if not ur a casual which means no raise in pay or benefits , treated like garbage
Seen many quit for this reason
Work outdoors and on your own, drive, meet nice people
No hours, no raises or benefits. Micro managed. Every minute is accounted for, which u will have to explain 3 mins extra lol
