As a QA specialist, you will apply advanced techniques in the design, development and implementation of test plans and strategies, as well as automated testing for the performance or our MS2 platform. Within FANBOX, the QA Specialist will demonstrate excellent technical expertise and apply generally accepted best practices for QA tools and the use of quantitative measures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Integrate the development team in order to meet QA objectives leading to software production: define testing strategies, plan tests (functional, integration, performance, acceptance, etc.); design test cases, execute testing, generate test reports, track errors/defects, and maintain and evolve the test environment
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, procedures, policies and standards
Contribute to the review of QA requirements throughout the software design process
Design and implement automated tests, improve test tools, and define test scripts
Your profile: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the software industry as a tester/developer Experience in agile software environments Solid experience in LAMP-based application solutions The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding achievements in automated testing The ideal candidate must have proven experience in load, performance, and resistance testing Excellent problem solving skills Strong team player Bilingual (English and French) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills A passion for QA and establishing best practices for advancing projects An interest in “digging deeper” to help find solutions to fundamental QA issues Strong sense of autonomy and initiative with proven organization skills
