Human Resources Generalist – Software and Digital Solutions Company
Located Downtown, dynamic company, seeking someone that could work autonomously and lead HR initiatives

Our client has been developing digital solutions for more than 25 years, offering state of the art software engineering practices. They are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist with exceptional organizational skills to assist in running an efficient office. The ideal candidate has experience as a human resources generalist in a small to mid-sized company and understands the challenges of a growing organization. In this position, the Human Resources Specialist will provide support for a variety of functions, including recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling. This role is also responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of our office environment, which includes everything from ordering the coffee to arranging the seating plan.

Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and assistance to employees regarding personnel policies
- Responsible for the accuracy of timesheets
- Conduct recruitment and integration of new employees
- Follow-up with new employees on a regular basis
- Negotiate job offer salaries and salary adjustments
- Plan, coordinate and mediate employee performance evaluations
- Counsel employees to help them continuously improve their job performance
- Ensure employee job satisfaction
- Maintain and audit internal documents related to office management and HR
- Work on a salary equity project, Loi 90, CSST and other similar HR programs
- Organize activities for the social committee
- Manage the office space (supplies, vendor relationships, security, comfort, cleanliness)

Requirements:
- 4 to 6 years experience in HR Generalist role for a small to mid-size company.
- Excellent communications skills. Bilingualism (English and French) is essential
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Capable of working in a fast pace agile environment with minimal supervision
- Familiar with recruitment strategies using social media
- Experience in the IT industry is an asset
