We are looking for a dynamic, organized, professional person with excellent written, oral and listening communication skills to head up our Human Resource Department. This is a new position within our growing company and we require someone to partner with managers to develop and implement hiring, training, performance and safety strategies. As a successful candidate you will have a degree or diploma in Human Resources, business or related field and will have one to three years of experience in an administrative capacity. Equivalencies will be considered. Must have strong computer skills with MS Office, have the ability to learn new software programs and be able to function well under pressure.
The main responsibilities of this position are:
1. Provide support to management and staff to develop their skills and capabilities
2. Monitor staff performance and attendance activities and process bi-weekly payroll
3. Coordinate recruitment and selection process to ensure a timely, organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire all staff
4. Provide information and assistance to staff, supervisors and management on human resource and work related issues
