The successful candidate will be responsible for the marketing and communications coordination under the direction of the President, Marketing Strategist and Online Marketing Director. You will be expected to demonstrate an ability to work independently on own initiative, and as part of a project team. You must also possess and utilize excellent writing and graphics skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a strong proficiency in coordinating input from multiple sources to carry out the following main responsibilities:

  • Work with the leadership team to realize our ambition to make a strong primary offering of industry changing technology in the transportation business;
  • Design marketing, communication and promotional materials, including brochures, project profiles, advertisements, posters and online outreach;
  • Copywriting, editing and proofreading of marketing material as required;
  • Liaise with Customer Service Leads on key messaging;
  • Script material and coordination of telemarketing campaigns, webinars, informational videos, and presentations;
  • Maintain corporate website and coordinate with website developer(s) as needed;
  • Create, maintain, and expand company online presence including content for blog and social media feeds;
  • Develop and staff events and coordinate and oversee member incentive programs;
  • Create and update project profiles and corporate resumes;
  • Coordinate direct mail campaigns;
  • Maintain and expand corporate promotional and sales database;
  • Initiate and organize promotional appointments and meeting opportunities with potential clients.
  • Act as spokesperson for media inquiries and manage relationship with the press

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Undergraduate or graduate education with a minimum of 5 years of brand strategy and marketing management and/or public relations experience
  • Demonstrated success conceiving and executing offline (via media, public relations and partnerships) and online (via social media marketing, blogs, etc.) marketing campaigns including: market research, analytics, and competitive positioning
  • Motivated, self-starter who is resourceful with proven problem solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively, lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ability to build credibility among peers and media channels
  • Committed to delivering best practices in professional services
  • Global perspective on issues impacting the architecture and design professions
  • Flexibility to travel as required, and to connect with colleagues across time zones
  • Perfectly bilingual, English and French
  • Experience in transportation field is an asset.
