Due to the rapid growth of our company and the official launch of our operations, the need of a Dispatcher has come.
This critical role will be an essential key of our Call center in the coming months.
Control all stages of transportation from collection to delivery, according to the client’s requirements (PATT: price, availability, transit time)
Interpret documentation, such as: Bill of lading, commercial invoice, proof of delivery, etc.
Inform the various departments involved when there is a problem
Provide excellent customer service to shippers and carriers
Plan and schedule daily tasks keeping in mind the goals and common objectives of the company and the service
Work as a team with the Customer Service Representatives to balance workload
Knowledge of the geography of North America
Autonomy, professionalism and good judgment, ability to be proactive
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Organizational skills, attention to detail
Good management of priorities and be comfortable with making decisions
Know the words, CTPAT, ACE, FAST, SMARTWAY
Good computer skills
Spoken and written French and English
Be available at all times, even outside of normal office hours, to answer the phone in case of emergency.
