Purpose
The Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager will have the responsibility of implementing, maintaining, and controlling the quality management system within FilterBoxx. He/she will play an active role in both projects and company-wide QA/QC requirements.

Responsibilities
QA/QC Management
Company – Wide QA/QC
Ensures ISO 9001 Compliance
Coordinates with Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and Sales to ensure ISO procedures are monitored for accuracy and executed by all employees
Monitors and reports on Quality objectives of the company
Plans and conducts quarterly Quality Management System Review meetings
Plans and conducts QA/QC staff meetings
Manages, and delegates tasks for updated System Level Procedures
Works with department heads to standardize FilterBoxx Procedures
Assists in monitoring Customer Satisfaction
Provides in-house training on QA/QC-related topics
Projects, Engineering and Sales QA/QC
Assists PM in developing project-specific QA/QC Plans
Monitors the completion QA/QC Documentation requirements
Routinely monitors vendor QA/QC requirements
Oversees quality record database management
Implements and Manages Inspection Test Plans
Communicates Lessons Learned and reports on non-conformance statistics to upper management
Performs Proposal Reviews – Quality Requirements
Manages the development of standard QA/QC package(s) for FilterBoxx product line

Qualifications
Education
Minimum 5 years experience in a QA/QC role in the Oil and Gas or Construction Industry
Degree or Diploma and enrolment in a professional designation
ISO 9001 and QA/QC training an asset
Skills
Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams
Ability to coordinate and communicate with all levels of professionals, trades, administrative staff and upper management
Skill in utilizing various different Microsoft Office softwares and database softwares
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to collect and analyze complex data
Ability to exercise considerable individual judgment and initiative in conducting the necessary operations within the project
Ability to develop initiatives in innovative manner for effective resolution
Ability to prepare and conduct effective presentations
Ability to coordinate activities with diverse groups and individuals

Work Environment
Office Environment with some travel to remote sites/camp or fabrication facilities.

Travel Required
Yes, from time to time as required for the project.
