Business Development Manager - Canada's Small Business Tax Specialist, Manitoba

FBC has been providing income tax and tax planning services to Canadian farmers and small business owners for over 60 years. We have been successful largely due to the dedication our employees have shown to our 50,000+ members. We are looking for the right person to take on the role of Business Development Manager in Manitoba. This role will lead a team of Business Development Representatives and is based out of the Winnipeg branch office supporting the Winnipeg, Brandon, Dauphin, and Dryden areas. Desired Skills and Experience

As an important member of the Business Development Team in the Business Development Manager position, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Recruit, develop and manage the activities of the Business Development team
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies
  • Manage and track sales activities, prepare reports and recommendations
  • Implement effective sales activity management activities, techniques and tools
  • Ensure development plans and activities are in place for your team

As the Manager of Business Development you must:

  • Have a proven record in building a sales team and achieving success in a fast paced sales environment (preferably intangibles)
  • Have the ability to travel throughout the territory
  • Proficiency with sales management software and internal databases
  • Outstanding communication skills
