This position reports to the General Manager with the ideal candidate being fully knowledgeable in A/P, A/R, Payroll, bank reconciliations, cash flow projections, budgeting and financial statement reporting. Must have experience in Month End, Quarter End and Year End processes as well as developing an operating budget. This position will oversee the office operation including supplies and equipment management. The ability to adapt and prioritize as required is essential. Post-Secondary Education is essential with either a CMA or CGA designation or in pursuit of either designation or equivalent work experience, at least 2-3 years’ previous work experience in a similar position is required.

Job Qualifications:
- Experience in Administrative duties and Office Management
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to handle customer service
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem solving skills
- Ability to deal with and prioritize multiple tasks and respond quickly to changing priorities
- Team player, self motivated with a positive attitude
- Ability to understand and maintain a complex document tracking system and storage system
- Exceptional computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer) advance knowledge of Excel and Outlook
- Experience with computerized accounting program, primarily with Simply Accounting (Sage 50)
- Experience with Clients and Profits an asset
- Experience with accessing and maintaining computer files on a company server, backup of company server and interacting with IT department to solve problems
- Back up in Receptionist duties

Bookkeeping Tasks:
- Preparing Financial Statements
- A/R and A/P
- Handling Petty Cash
- Posting internal charges
- Preparing reports for Government documents
- WIP reports
- Prepare Year End Reports
- Maintain General Ledgers
- Maintain and Establish Budget
- Prepare Bank Deposits
- Cash flow projections
- Bank reconciliation
- Mastercard Reconcilation and tracking
- Government remittances

Human Resources Tasks:
- Payroll
- Updating employee files
- Assist in maintaining standards with the Ministry of Labour
- Updating employee agreements
- Knowledge of Cerdian and reconciling Vacation and payroll.
- Knowledge of generating T4s and T4 summaries
- Time sheet tracking

Administrative Tasks:
- Research
- Data entry
- Answering phones and taking messages
