Working with ExxonMobil
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Former Employee), Fairfax, VAJanuary 5, 2014
Typical work day comprise of preparing mailing forms to customers, categorization through mail and perform a variety of administrative duties by using Microsoft Office Suite.
I managed and arranged executives' calendars on a daily basis. I managed and maintained center office. I scheduled all appointments for orientation and other customer services. – more... I supervised and supported other administrative staff when needed; keeping them organized and up to date on all daily changes and procedures. Maintained, tracked and prepared expense reports.

My hardest part of the day is completing all task in a timely manner before I have to leave work for the day and the most enjoyable part of the job is when I know the customer or client are very satisfied with the job I do for each and everyone – less

Great place to work if you are a company man. Treat engineers and non engineers very differently (if you are not an engineer you are a second class citizen).

Pros: always busy and could pick up hours when needed.
Cons: my particular manager was not the most honest or fairest.
I was always busy doing something. We knew most customers by name and what they wanted when they walked into the store. I worked with some really nice employees.

Cashier/ Cashier Supervisor Trainee (Former Employee), Richmond, VADecember 21, 2013
Pros: when my employees tills come out even with no shortages .
Cons: when gas pumps start acting up and the customers get upset or when we run out a certain lotto ticket
I enjoyed everything while employed with Exxon, I learned the true meaning of family when I started working there. The customers were friendly, my employees loved working for me as well as coming in when i need them. My typical day at work was constantly on a run. There were always things to be ordered, lottery was selling like crazy, things always needed – more... to be stock as well as making the store look presentable for customers. Days were always busy but it never bothered me at all – less

Challenging situation supporting a Call Center Relocation to Canada
Contractor (Former Employee), Exton, PADecember 14, 2013
Pros: great people that took on the challenges of a "short term" assignment
Cons: the assignment only lasted a year
Typically worked four 12-hour days per week. Supported Call Center dispatches of Exxon/Mobile and vendor fuel deliveries to service stations and sometimes airports. Configured nightly dispatch schedule for a specific area that was sent to a specific Exxon/Mobile disptach center for deliveries the next day.

This was a temporary assignment staffed by – more... Manpower contractors that lasted about a year until Exxon reassigned or cut their staff so that the Call Center could be moved and reopened in Canada. – less

Great Workplace Bad Management
Customer Service (Former Employee), Grenada, MSDecember 9, 2013
Cons: manager and computer gliches
Management was very bad, reason being the manager was very specific of the things that she allowed and refused to allow; meanwhile she does them herself. She is impatient and has a very ill tempered manner of handling business.
