My Manager was very helpful, but the work was just not there
Maintenance Technician (Former Employee), Santa Ana, CA – April 2, 2014
When I first started I had the opportunity to work at a stamping plant which was okay at best. I learned how to make watch battery casing and other small metal components. The supervisor at that assignment was particularly not very amicable and very judge-mental of his employees. My co-workers were all Japanese-Americans and did not speak English very – more... well, which was also the most difficult part of the job.
The management was very helpful and did their best to keep me on assignments and that was the best part about that job. – less
employment seeker (Former Employee), Eureka, CA – March 31, 2014
Cons: not responsive
After being in contact with this company 2/week every week for 4 months and despite submitting several (20+) specific interest cards, I have received not even so much as a phone call. I'm a college graduate with a Bachelor's and several AA degrees with lots of work experience. They should be able to find something for me.
But they're not actually a – more... temp agency. They're a hiring agency - they have no say in who is hired. All they do is forward your resume and info. – less
LIHEAP Interviewer (Former Employee), Pocatello, ID – March 28, 2014
If you are looking for an above average temp job, Express is great. I just wish their pay was higher and that there was more communication about length of assignments. All of the employees in the staffing office are very nice and willing to help. Overall above par staffing agency.
Was a productive job. Outgoing, and fun co-workers.
Car transporter (Former Employee), Woodhaven, MI – March 27, 2014
The typical day would be fasted paced. Most of the people had a good attitude and outlook about the day. Management was good, responsive to any problem quickly. Most enjoyably part was talking and joking around with my co-workers.
Cleaned trailers for oilf field (Former Employee), Lone Grove, OK – March 20, 2014
I cleaned trailers for the oilfield. I liked the girls that I worked with on this job. A typical day at this job was that there was 4-5 girls and we would pick a room of the mobile home to clean and clean that room meeting in the middle of the mobile home which would be the living room. I enjoyed working with the girls that I worked with.
