We are currently seeking 2 to 3 Engineering Technologists, with AutoCAD 10 or 12 training and
experience. Candidates must also have intermediate to advanced MS Office suite capabilities
(primarily spread sheeting/Excel and report writing/Word). Conveyor, Plant & Plant/Equipment
Facilities Engineering interests would be a definite “Plus”.

Some automotive experience would be preferred however we will consider recent graduates.
Must show confidence in their role and interact well with Client and suppliers.
Must be “Schedule/Budget Driven” in their approach to managing their assignments.
Responsibilities may include and are not limited to:
Assist in developing facility, (assembly line, material subassembly area), work station
layouts and preliminary material paths.
Assist in producing bid packages (supply and/or installation).
Assist in overseeing / monitoring installation activities of equipment and associated
Perform field checks to verify proposals and layout feasibility.
Assist in the review of vendor drawings for design compliance & installation.
Produce AutoCAD drawings for vendor use for quoting and installation purposes.
Produce excel spread sheets for costing and tracking activities.
Assist in preparing cost estimates for systems and other proposals.
Act as liaison/assistant to DSC’s Project Manager/Project Engineer, working under his
direction and guidance.
Must be a team player and have good interpersonal and team/client communication skills.
Must be outgoing and not afraid to take on new challenges/assignments.
Must demonstrate ability/desire to grow and take on individual responsibilities. “Self-
Starter” characteristics a definite plus for the candidate and DSC.
Required Computer Skills:
AutoCAD 2010 or higher preferred, AutoCAD 2007 would be considered.
Good computer skills, Microsoft Office 10 (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint are key,
knowledge of MS Project would be an asset) a requisite.
