Productive and very organized
Track & Tracer (Former Employee), Toledo, OH – April 26, 2013
Pros: experience
Cons: only part time
A typical day at Exel Logistics endured a lot of entering in data that consisted of weight parts and prices of the parts. I also called the clients to ensure that the parts had been delivered. I manually went in and entered data if the system messed up. The hardest part of my job was learning everything. There was a lot of info but they where great – more... with training and in the end I was able to learn everything very quickly. The most enjoyable part was learning everything. – less

Management was terrible, but it was work
Material Handler/Unit Picker (Former Employee), Auburn, WA – April 25, 2013
started work at 6:00pm, worked 12 hr shifts, many disgruntle employees. The management showed blatant favoritism, and very poor lead skills. the co-workers were awesome, but the managers were very poorly trained. honestly disliked alot of my days there.

THE WORK IS NOT COMPLICATED. THEY'RE VERY STRICT DURING TRAINING, AS I WAS TERMINATED BECAUSE MY SICKNESS CAUSED ME TO ARRIVE LATE. THEY'RE NOT FAIR IN ALL ASPECTS.

Pros: free lunch, free products from johnson & johnson
Working at Excel we were always busy, very fast paced there. The only thing with Exel there was no advancement opportunities. Management was good to get along with always had good advice for us. co-workers were easy to get along with because we really didn't have time to socialized because we were always busy. Hardest part was getting started because – more... it was a 10 hour work day. – less

Gain good experience but at what price!!
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Pleasant Prairie – April 8, 2013
Pros: hourly associates were awesome
Cons: management
This was the most difficult management team I ever worked for. They were like a pack of wolves ready to devour their next victim. They would single people out and just ride them until they broke.Turn over is huge in the pleasant prairie and sturtevant, will sites. I hear a lot of great things about other EXEL sites perhaps corporate should look into – more... these sites...they are unethical and have numerous lawsuits. STAY AWAY! – less

All upper management was a joke for the SCJ network
Office Supervisor (Former Employee), Pleasant Prairie, Wi – April 3, 2013
Pros: hourly associates are great
Cons: upper management
I would never recommend this employer to anyone not even my worst enemy. You go in thinking its a great place they make it sound like you will have all this growth opportunity but it is all a lie. That is basically how they run their operation on lies to their employees and when challenged they will just fire you.Stay away at any cost.
