Operations Training Supervisor (Former Employee) – Fort McMurray, AB – 23 July 2016
Progressed through the the company quickly with hard work and motivation to learn new roles. Met lots of good people who helped strengthen the company's safety record. Benefits were really good, and HR was generally on top of issues quickly.
Operations Manager/General Manager (Former Employee) – Brampton, ON – 12 June 2016
Exel gave me a lot of opportunity to learn and advance my career. Over time the operations phylosophy has changed and the operations have gone from a lean mean operation that treated associates and supplier fairly but demanded quality services to an operation that is multi layered with additional FAT and has little or no accountability.
Lots of opportunity if you were willing to commit.
Packer (Former Employee) – Brampton, ON – 22 May 2016
A typical day at Excel is filled with non-stop hard work. I learned how to work at a fast pace due to the fact that I was working on a assembly line. The hardest part of the job was most definitely keeping up with the pace.
Worker (Former Employee) – Brampton, ON – 10 May 2016
Heavy workload, seven hour shifts with shifty pay. Long days and co-workers yelling at you to work faster. you get a good workout from lifting all the boxes, but the continuous nagging to work faster doesn't help.
