The Excel Society is recruiting for Residential Coordinators.
The Coordinator is responsible for the day to day coordination of service delivery within Community Support Services. Successful candidates must have experience working in AHS/PDD Supportive Living, day programs, and Children Services; as well have experience working with individuals with communication barriers, complex behaviours and mental health issues. Candidates must also possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Candidates should have excellent time management, crisis management and leadership skills. Working knowledge of the AHS, PDD, and Children Services funding process and budget management skills. Successful candidates must have excellent working knowledge of all policy, procedures and standards that governs Excel Society. The successful candidates will also be included on the on-call schedule, approximately on a 3 month rotation.
Educational requirements for this position are a minimum 3 years supervisory experience plus a degree in a related field from a recognized institution. Experience working in a related field. Maintain current certification in the following areas: First Aid, CPR, Medication Administration, Documentation, Abuse Protocol, CPI, Supportive Workplace and Diversity and Person Centered Planning. A criminal record check is also required.
Salary: $22.84-$23.98 per hour for 40 hours weekly.
