Social Media Executive (Former Employee) – Northwich, Cheshire – 30 January 2017
A typical day consisted of myself and the CEO working in a tiny office to get the day's work done. He would work on the recruitment and organisation side, and I would run the social media and other digital marketing tasks.
A lot of my role was self taught as the other members of the company (in which there were only two, husband and wife) were not informed on the topic of digital marketing. However, they were happy to help when possible and were happy to learn from me.
The management was great and I was looked after as if I was a member of their family. Not only did I learn about recruitment from them, they were also keen to learn about social media and digital marketing from myself which made me feel like a key member of the business.
The workplace was very relaxed and I felt very comfortable working in such a small office with the rest of the team. I enjoyed every day in the office and Mondays were not a chore.
The hardest part of this job was knowing it was a temporary contract. I loved every moment of working with ESL and would love the opportunity to do so again in the future.
