Only work, no safety and poor management.
Non-Destructive Testing Inspector (Former Employee), Nisku, ABMay 31, 2014
All the time just think for production , not much care about safety and poor management , no entertainment at all , 3 shift 24 hour running company, once you stuck in night shift no way to get out , have to work 11PM to 7 AM everyday, No Choice.

Working for Esco
Global Price List Administrator (Current Employee), Portland, OregonJuly 30, 2013
Working for ESCO Corporation has been a wonderful experience. This is a 100 year old local company that takes care of its workers. People here are hard working, intelligent and friendly - managers and employees get along and work side-to-side. The greatest asset of this company is its people!

Open schedule
Lab Technician - Metallurgical Lab (Former Employee), Portland, ORApril 15, 2013
Pros: flexible schedule
Cons: not ample notice for deadlines as they pertained to the size of the order at any particular time.
I worked in the metallurgical lab. I did a varied list of things and though I could work my own hours, sometimes the needs of the job and the short notice of deadlines would make it difficult to balance school, family, and work.

Growing pains
Manager (Former Employee), Portland, ORMarch 3, 2013
Pros: profitable, experienced employees
Cons: poor executive communication skills
ESCO has been privately held for 100 years. In order to finance continued growth, the company plans to go public when markets permit. This will result in a substantial cultural change in a company where executive communication skills are lacking. ESCO enjoys strong market demand, makes great products, and has a lot of experienced employees. Not clear – more... that executive management is up to the challenge of taking this company to the next level. – less

Typical Ma and Pa shop
Windows Engineer/Disaster Recovery Specialist (Former Employee), Mesa, AZJuly 5, 2012
A ma and pa corporation. There's not much I would say about this company. The best part is that I don't have to work with so-called coworkers.
