Professional and good company to work, salary is a bit less but benefits are good. Work like balance is exceptional and so is job culture and Job security. Process oriented company might get bureaucratic at times.
Great place to learn, management has deep issues, needs to support staff and manage clients better
Integration Specialist (Former Employee) – Canada – 13 May 2017
Ericsson is a good company trying to enter other market verticals, while its stellar wireless segment is under pressure from lower cost but high quality alternative supplier(s). They have some great IoT, CDN, Cloud and IPTV/Media offers.
Great technology and great people in the working levels and technology development.
Company tends to take customers (mis)directions, doesn't manage them well. Dumps blame to staff, management doesn't support their staff, even when they know the customer is not being truthful.
Senior software developer (Current Employee) – Ottawa, ON – 4 April 2017
good learning place, but no challenge. I don't recommend to work here, all technology is very old. young people should meet the challenge place, like internet, AI, robotic industry, telecom is not good for you.Worked at different big software projects. Strong working experience in distributing computing and multi thread system.Excellent experienced software project management and planning.
Very flexible hours and have very understanding management. They have a multicultural positive environment, a lot of training opportunities. It is hard to become part of management and promotion is hard to come.
Integration/Support Engineer RAN & Core (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 6 February 2017
Ericsson is a good company, and on the top of the telecom industry for many year. Reduced lots of overtime work then before to give employees better work/life balance The culture is more tolerance and friendly.
Free and self management to get better work life balance
less chance to get hands-on training, probably for saving cost
