Provide superior customer service to our existing book of business with the goal of surpassing the customer’s expectations. Sell insurance products (primarily personal lines) in a professional manner to improve the profitability of the company. Effective communication on the telephone and attention to detail will promote client loyalty, building strong relationships with our clients who will not hesitate to refer our services.
Respond to all client inquiries whether by phone, email, mail or office visit in a timely, well informed manner including client requests for quotes or policy changes.
Make contact with clients to review their renewal policies ensuring their coverage is accurate and up to date.
Maintain current product knowledge and underwriting criteria for all markets to develop new accounts and provide seamless service.
Contact clients concerning registered letters who warrant reinstatements.
Counsel Insureds on implications of making a claim, take and report claims to the Insurers and act as an intermediary if necessary to help bring the claim to a successful conclusion.
Review monoline accounts and provide quotes for eligible business to round customer portfolios.
Review Billing Notices, attach to file and contact clients as required
Review all renewal, new policy, endorsement, cancellation and reinstatement documentation to ensure accuracy. Access & attach documents from Insurer web sites or scan and attach documents received via courier or Canada Post.
Data entry support to update customer contact information, process billing for renewals, new business, rewrites, endorsements and cancellations.
Confirm coverage with lienholders, lessors, mortgagees, etc.
Scan and attach relevant documents to client files in TAM.
Maintain a professional working relationship with company underwriters
Obtain continuing education hours as required to maintain RIBO license
- RIBO Licensed for at least 2 years.
- Outstanding communication skills both written and oral.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiently works with Agency Manager and Word
- Displays strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Enjoys dealing with the public and fostering client loyalty with strong customer service skills.
