Accounting Clerk/Administrative Assistant

EnviroMak Inc. Environmental Management Consultants is seeking an in office Accountant Clerk/Administrative Assistant. Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • Accounting diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Previous experience with Simply Accounting, preferably with projects/job billing
  • Strong attention to detail; well established organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work within fast-paced, dynamic and changing priority environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability

The successful applicants’ responsibilities will include:

  • Accounts Receivable/Payable
  • Timesheet collation in Excel
  • Accumulating expenses to be billed
  • Preparing and sending invoices
  • Following up with accounts receivable requests
  • Recording payments received
  • General monitoring of receivables
  • Reviewing and recording employee and company expense claims
  • Paying bills
  • Reconciling credit card statements
  • Other administrative duties as required
