Assistant Manager (Current Employee) – Midland, ON – 17 June 2017
Great company to grow within but if you're not willing to relocate your options are limited. Perfect environment for young go-getters with no ties to home/family. Lots of hours BUT lots of opportunity!
Management Trainee (Former Employee) – Welland, ON – 30 May 2017
Great training for customer service. You meet a lot of new people and coworkers usually end up having a good sense of humor due to the the daily frustrations that come with the job. Overall a good place to work and obtain skills.
Branch Manager (Current Employee) – Toronto, ON – 24 April 2017
Enterprise provides you with a great opportunity to develop your sales, leadership and management skills. It provides you with immense opportunity to advance your career quickly and with limited boundaries. It does require a high level of commitment to the operation and the hours. You may come across many difficult situations as you are the front line dealing with customers day in and day out. I have learned an immense amount in a short period of time, many skills I will utilize wherever my career may take me.
Huge earning potential, great work environment, the employees
Branch Manager (Former Employee) – Milton, ON – 15 April 2017
Enterprise uses false promises to ensnare hopeful young graduates to join their company. The pay the lowest possible wages to there employees and work them almost slave like hours. Their hiring and firing decisions are made mostly on popularity decisions. They manipulate staff to sacrifice their personal time, safety, and self's for the betterment of the company. The main transferable skill you can bring from working at Enterprise is how to work extraordinarily hard.
Service agent (Current Employee) – Pickering, ON – 4 April 2017
Typical day at work involves cleaning cars and transporting customers to and from their houses, dealerships and bodyshops. At my time here, I learned to develop professional relationships with major accounts.
Management Trainee (Current Employee) – Fort McMurray, AB – 26 March 2017
Great company to work for as team work is important and there is always opportunity for promotion. Dealing with customers on a daily basis means gaining skills in customer service. Enterprise also legitimately cares for and takes care of their employees.
Management -Trainee (Former Employee) – Windsor, ON – 22 March 2017
Great company to work for to gain an introduction into a competitive sales environment. Work culture is great, real sense of "one team one dream". Company is built on rules. So many in fact that its almost impossible to know whats true and what isn't. A lot of conflicting practices and policies on a branch to branch level as well as on an employee to employee level. Hours are terrible. 49 hours is the minimum you will work, generally its closer to 55.
Management Trainee (Former Employee) – Vancouver, BC – 13 March 2017
The first month was fun but the honeymoon phase quickly wore off when you had incompetent branch managers to deal with on a regular basis. There's limited resources (units to rent) where helping other branches cannibalized your own sales and stats. Working at Enterprise in BC, Canada can be only considered if you are really desperate. And lastly, unless you have a great customer service focused manager, the managers I have worked with don't really acknowledge my existence until I made it to the top half of the sales matrix. It's all about the money...
teamwork, great place to find how to make sales
no work-life balance, conflicting agendas between branch managers and area managers
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Brampton, ON – 12 March 2017
Its was a great experience renting, driving, and creating contracts. I enjoyed the work atmosphere of the professional environment. I don't have anything negative to say - It was overall the best work experience I ever could've hoped for.
Assistant Manager (Former Employee) – Ft st john – 21 February 2017
Company does not back its employees treats female employees badly hires mostly immigrants as they can work them 60 hrs a week and hold their green card as ransom horrible treatment of Caucasian employees .
Assistant Branch Manager (Former Employee) – Vancouver, BC – 20 February 2017
Enterprise was a great place to start a career in business. I strengthened my business acumen through managing accounting processes at a branch level, B2B marketing, and even some HR. Sometimes the hours tend to be a bit long, but the people you work with make it much easier.
