We're looking to add a Water Resources Engineer to our esteemed team.
Analyze and interpret results and provide technical input; write and review reports for stormwater management systems, hydraulics and bridge and culvert openings; conduct drainage and flood plain management studies
Write and review reports for sanitary and storm sewer analysis including reviewing basement flooding and water quality issues.
Assist in technical supervision of intermediate and junior staff, analyze and interpret results and provide technical assistance to other departments.
An important component of this role will be business development involving external contact with Clients and Agencies.
Assure compliance with the project schedule, control estimates and quality control.
Bachelor degree in Engineering or other equivalent training.
Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in Water Resources Engineering
Hold a license from the Professional Engineers of Ontario
Working knowledge of Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM and HEC-RAS computer models, water balance and continuous modeling.
Working Knowledge of AutoCAD Land Desktop and Civil 3D.
Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Project and Excel and strong report writing skills.
Canadian experience in engineering consulting is required
Experience with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Drainage and Hydrology requirements including Highway Drainage Design Standards
Strong communication skills are required
Good initiative, attention to details.
Ability to work in a team environment
