You will ultimately own and manage the product roadmap for all systems and processes required to support the Modularization team. This individual is expected to work directly with business stakeholders to create requirements and high level designs. He/she will then translate these to technical and functional designs to guide the team during the implementation phases. The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for operational strength of these systems, ensuring efficient and robust execution of all processes.
-Acts as a business partner for the Modularization and Project Management team
-Meets with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define and document business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals;
-Leads design sessions in describing new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow;
-Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing production systems and develops strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems;
-Seeks to understand corporate objectives; applies knowledge to projects and disseminates to team;
-Performs cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions;
-Manage budget of the project.
Operational Management / Solution Implementation
-Creates system design proposals that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization;
-Identifies and presents solutions to resolve systems issues;
-Leads teams in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications;
-Creates systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers;
-Ensures compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems
-Has accountability for systems and processes running well in production, including off shift support;
-Provides orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
-Provides support for systems in production; Is the primary escalation point for more complex issues; Signs off on solution for all issues.
