Easy job to do
Air sealing and insulator (Former Employee), Wilmington, DEMay 7, 2012
Pros: easy job to do you can meet alot people
Cons: accidents, breaking things, hot attic, paper work is wrong, driving long distance, cleaning up cellulose
In the morning you start by loading a box truck with cellulose its newspaper with boric acid making it fire retardant and also a bug repellent. Once the truck is loaded you grave your paper work and drive to the job, when get to the job you do a BAS on the house building airflow standers measure how much air you can seal off from the house. Air seal – more... the attic and basement or crawl space then insulate the attic. managers map out the job and with a good team we get the job done. The hardest part is when it 80 degrees out side its 130 degrees in the attic and by it being that hot you can't breath with the respirator on and you have to take breaks often so you don't pass out from exhaustion the break can drag out the day. – less
