Good Money
Welder Fabricator (Former Employee), Calgary, ABJune 20, 2015
Pros: Money
Cons: Everyone seems to be full of themselves
They need the right people to guide and lead .Not a big mouth yelling at everyone .They have need for people with skills to provide the knowledge and tools needed to think ahead . There is a need for guidance to find short cuts instead of coming in each shift with looking for problems instead of solutions . Hopeful they never give the lead position to the penguin big mouth millwright

Management and Field tech (Former Employee), Edmonton AlbertaJune 10, 2015
Pros: Its a job? Pay is ok.
Cons: Hours/Stress/Management/company saftey culture/acountablity
Very stressful place to work (lots of extra hours are expected)and poor planning from senior management. No one seems to care about workers safety/improvement or standards and the direction of the company seems to change by the month. Mass lay offs in Alberta as well.

In the 2 years that I worked for Enerfex, I was taught a variety of drafting practices and engineering principles. I was privileged to work for a great boss and diverse but excellent coworkers.

Pros: people that work there
Cons: people that work there
start with a tool box meeting and job assignments for the day.
then you find the prefabbed spools and equipment and instrumentation , bolt up and gaskets that are requiered following the spool drawings specification and details, then work with others to get the days work done.

Journeyman welder (Former Employee), calgary north eastDecember 16, 2013
Not a very fun place to work. Although work is for work and not for fun I expect a more enjoyable workplace environment. Management was sub-par. They expected you to work overtime, even if you have a family. – more... The only real benefit of Enerflex was the salary and compressed work week, but this was somewhat negated by the expected overtime hours. Also, no one knew what they were doing in relation to skid building. – less

Accounts Payable Analyst (Former Employee), Calgary, ABJuly 22, 2012
Pros: flexible hours
Cons: favoritism
I was very excited to work for Enerflex and did meet some great people.
Overall I enjoyed my job. However due to some changes (Toromont purchasing Enerflex) alot of people unhappy which made for a stressful working environment.
