then you find the prefabbed spools and equipment and instrumentation , bolt up and gaskets that are requiered following the spool drawings specification and details, then work with others to get the days work done.

Only good thing is salary, rest is terrible.
Journeyman welder (Former Employee), calgary north eastDecember 16, 2013
Not a very fun place to work. Although work is for work and not for fun I expect a more enjoyable workplace environment. Management was sub-par. They expected you to work overtime, even if you have a family. The only real benefit of Enerflex was the salary and compressed work week, but this was somewhat negated by the expected overtime hours. Also, – more... no one knew what they were doing in relation to skid building. – less

Had an amazing time working at Enerflex. A great mixture of staff of all trades. I honestly believe I would still be there if they did not close down, & probably almost complete my apprenticeship

Pros: flexible hours
Cons: favoritism
I was very excited to work for Enerflex and did meet some great people.
Overall I enjoyed my job. However due to some changes (Toromont purchasing Enerflex) alot of people unhappy which made for a stressful working environment.

Enerflex: a very priveledged place to work at
Welder/ fitter (Former Employee), Casper, WYNovember 9, 2013
Enerflex offered a lot of advancement, training, and an extremely good benefit package. It had very decent pay and plenty of overtime. we had most weekends off and our personal safety was their first and foremost goal. Every day started with a safety tip or an MSDS (Material safety data sheet) topic we studied. We were trained to be very educated on – more... all tools and chemicals on the premises. We watched out for our fellow coworkers in all duties we performed. The day normally consisted of cutting, grinding, measuring (mainly metric), squaring, reading blueprints and applying them, welding, and crane use. Precision and accuracy were mandatory. We applied daily analysis at the beginning of each shift. My coworkers became like family and we worked to achieve success as a team. There was always a radio on, and though there were some disagreements on genre, we compromised to keep everyone happy. I loved nearly every aspect of that job, but the one thing that frustrated everyone was the lack of honest communication between management and those on the floor. It was long 12 hour days of hard work but a good experience none the less. – less

Enerflex was a great place to work, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
Perth Administration Officer/Site Administrator (Former Employee), Northbridge WA 6000October 8, 2013
Pros: great work environment. lots of opportunity and encouragement to advance in the workplace.
Cons: i often worked over my lunch hour and after hours for no financial benefit.
During my time with Enerflex I was in 3 different positions so had varied roles.
I was a receptionist/Admin Assistant then Project Secretary also a Site Administrator. Therefore my typical day was different for all 3 roles:

• Answering/transferring internal and external phone calls
• Envision & SAP data base
• Training new staff
• Travel arrangements – more... to/from site
• Timesheet Entry/Payroll Enquires
• Report Entries (Daily, Weekly and Monthly)
• Accommodation requests/management
• Liaising with project managers in Perth office, client and sub-contractors
• Managing site rosters/schedules
• Document Control
• Meeting minute taking
• General filing duties
• Knowledge of all OHS requirements, including organising PPE on site – less

Great place to do an internship!
Engineering Intern (Former Employee), Houston, TXSeptember 3, 2013
I personally loved working here - the culture was great, very relaxed and easy going without being over-the-top casual. Everyone there is very knowledgeable about their job and area of expertise - I learned more about electrical engineering in the three months I was here compared to what I've learned in my classes. I loved that they let me see all the – more... different aspects of gas compression, so I got to work with both the electrical and mechanical groups, as well as taking frequent trips out to the shop to see what I was actually working on inside. – less

Pros: great benefits, great pay safety is number one
Cons: too many breaks, if u wanna learn something they don't let u
Enerflex is a good company overall but if u like to be in motion all the time then is not a good company to be with but if u like to be doing one thing all day with lotz of breaks then this is ur place to be in.
