ENERCON, an international and a leader of its industry, is rapidly expanding in Canada. For our new facility in the Niagara region, which manufactures the electrical modules and cabinets, we are currently looking for motivated employees to join our Purchasing and Material Management team.
Market research and analysis;
Scheduling appointments and meetings with vendors, negotiating prices and conditions, communicating by phone and email;
Preparation of purchase contracts;
Generating and submitting purchase orders and purchase requisitions;
Evaluation of suppliers in cooperation with technicians and quality engineers;
Maintaining files and records, updating the SAP database regularly;
Approval of invoices;
Completion of any other administrative tasks, as necessary.
College diploma in business administration, purchasing, or any other relevant discipline;
5 years' experience in material planning/ordering in a manufacturing environment;
Further experience in purchasing of electronic and electrical components would be a definite asset;
Good written and spoken skills in English;
Knowledge of French and/or German an asset but not a requirement;
Negotiating skills required when dealing with vendors, working well with others, willingness to learn, flexibility;
Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel. Knowledge of SAP a definite asset.
