ENERCON, an international and a leader of its industry, is rapidly expanding in Canada. For our new facility in the Niagara region, which manufactures the electrical modules and cabinets, we are currently looking for motivated employees to join our Production team.

Your Task

As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly of control panels, cabinets and other electronic components.

Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine assembly procedures;
Assembling the electrical and electronic components according to the schematics;
Cutting cables of various gauges using tools provided;
Using hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, stripping tool, crimping tool, cutters, etc) or basic power tools;
Stripping wires of various gauges and crimping contacts onto wires;
Filling production forms (electronic or hard copy) to ensure proper tracking and storage of components produced/materials used;
Completing inspections in accordance with quality procedures established;
Keeping your workstation clean;
Working in a team to assist other technicians when required.

Your Qualifications

High school diploma (electronics technology background and education and asset);
Excellent manual dexterity required;
Knowledge in electrical assembly an asset;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
Ability and willingness to work in a physically demanding position (standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling);
Good computer skills allowing for easy documenting of work processes and recording results in company computer systems;
Basic math skills and good problem solving skills;
Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions, with strong listening skills.
