Role: Payroll/Accounts Payable Coordinator Location: Richmond Hill, ON Duration: 1 year
Responsibilities:
Weekly payroll calculations, preparation and remittance for multiple companies (80-100 individuals) Weekly, monthly, annual reporting o Accruals o Analysis Communicate with employees, as needed, to obtain approved time sheets, discuss pay Maintain payroll/personnel files Accounts Payable for contractors and subvendors
Qualifications:
Working towards PCP is an asset Working towards CGA or CMA is an asset Post-Secondary Education in related field (preference to Accounting) 3-5 years relevant experience is an asset Experience with QuickBooks is an asset Knowledge of Employment Law for most provinces Excellent Communication skills Ability to communicate with people from a wide variety of backgrounds Excellent organization skills Ability to deal with last minute changes to work load Excellent knowledge of accounting functions Knowledge of Human Resources functions Works well individually Works well in teams Self-Starter/Proactive Ability to deal with strict deadlines Excellent attention to detail Discreet Ethical Common sense
