Pros: decent money for easy work, 8:30-5 maximum hours, many people do the job in far less time, no employee will contact you prior to 8 am or after 5 pm, very few weekends to work
Cons: budgets constantly being pulled back, slow marketing department, inconsistencies in marketing, liars in management, pay freezes for multiple years, industry is shrinking due to obamacare, r&d not getting anything new to market, multiple products going generic
Management routinely tells you all is good, and lies to you. Corporate position is to protect management, at all cost. Company plays that they are very aware of "doing the right thing" when really it is still a "good ole boy network" at it's core. Executives to field reps have left over the past several years for those exact reasons. Look elsewhere, – more... as the money is not worth losing your soul!!
Marketing department is unclear on their direction and shifts with the wind.
