Is it possible to love a job? We think so. That's why our team has been together so long. Sure, it could be the fun events we host every month, or the laughter overheard in the hallway every day, or even the values we all share like teamwork, humility, fun and commitment. But it could also be the challenge and joy of working for a software company that is really going somewhere. Yes, it's possible to love a job, especially when it loves you right back.
We specialize in developing operations software, called Helm Marine Operations™, which is implemented in tugboat and barge companies across the world, and right at home here on Vancouver Island. We seek relationships with customers and employees that are based on respect, hard work, transparency, teamwork, and a little fun, too. In our opinion, that's what makes a great relationship. Our brand promise is user friendly, so we strive to make our software, service and culture reflect that promise. After all, if our software is hard to use and it's no fun to work here, how can we expect to stay in business?
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead. The successful candidate will lead the QA process in the delivery of high quality, highly available, high performance and industry leading applications. Since 1999 Edoc Systems Group has been developing Helm Marine Operations™ software to help workboat companies streamline their operations and increase their business intelligence. Edoc was a 2011 finalist for Employer of the Year in the VIATeC Awards.
Some of the largest and most respected workboat companies in the world, such as Florida Marine Transporters, Seaspan International, and McAllister Towing and Transportation, trust their fleet management to Helm Marine Operations™ software. Developed specifically for the tug & barge industry by Edoc Systems Group, the Helm suite of modules increase operational efficiency, create better processes and improve accountability across your workboat company.
The integration of Helm's modules in maintenance, dispatch & invoicing, personnel, safety & compliance, purchasing, and onboard gives you unparalleled visibility throughout your organization and a level of data analysis that leads to greater tug and crew utilization, augmented business intelligence, reduced vessel downtime and increased profitability.
Helm is available in individual modules as well as the entire suite. The more modules you add to Helm, the more powerful and efficient a tool it becomes for your organization.
