Reporting to the Electronic Foreman, the successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Nortel and Avaya Phone systems, security systems, card access systems, public address systems, CCTV and audio equipment.

Qualifications: an Alberta or Interprovincial Journeyman Communication Technician Certificate; a minimum of five years progressive experience in the communication, electronics and security industry; good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software applications; strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work load and job-site tasks; ability to work independently; and good communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful applicant must have a valid Alberta Driver’s license and be prepared to use personal vehicle and hand tools.

Rate of Pay: $38.76 per hour with an advance on expenses of $393.48 biweekly
