EIA expansion
Electrical Coordinator (Former Employee), Edmonton International AirportDecember 18, 2012
Pros: huge responsibilities.
Cons: on call 24 - 7 - 365
The EIA is undergoing massive expansion and as a result is experiecing changes that it has not gone through before.

They are struggling with an inadequate workforce who are going to be hard tasked to keep up with an infrastructure that is soon to be 50% bigger than it was just a few years ago.

The results are major stress put on the existing work – more... force who have not always bought into the process.

There will be major labour turn overs before things start to run smoothly again. – less
