Eclipse Awards is looking for a friendly and professional outside sales person with initiative, drive, and a strong work ethic to help increase sales within BC.
Primary responsibility would be to generate new clients by:
1. researching awards events and opportunities online, contacting the organizers, and converting the lead into a client
2. creating several sales/marketing campaigns to target markets, and implementing them successfully
Other duties may include trade shows/networking events, client meetings with presentations, and social media. The successful applicant will need to develop an understanding of recognition and the various ways it can be used by organizations.
- business to business sales and prospecting experience
- excellent verbal and written communication
- ability to type 40 wpm
- an appreciation of good design, sustainability, and community building is an asset
Initially this will be a full-time, 2 month contract position commencing immediately. Salary will be $2600/month. Following a successful 2-month trial, this position will move to a base salary plus commission.
