We have an immediate opening for a Logistics Coordinator

About The Job

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ~ Logistics Coordinator

Shipping and Receiving duties:

  • Shipping & Receiving of all LNG fuel station equipment for construction build.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against bills of lading, purchase orders and other documents, and receive into system
  • Record shortages and identify and reject damaged goods
  • Use courier software and labels to facilitate daily pickups.
  • Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents with appropriate information.

Freight:

  • Experience in sourcing 3rd party freight – finding suitable companies within budget.
  • Daily arrangements for pick up and drop off for equipment/parts.

Inventory Management:

  • Perform regular cycle counts.
  • Organize and manage inventory parts.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against bills of lading, purchase orders and other documents, and receive into system.
  • Create labelling, enter receipts and place inventory in proper location.

Customs:

  • Ability to complete all required customs forms for import/export.
  • Work closely with chosen customs broker.

Warehousing:

  • Source 3PL for all of ENN parts & equipment (multiple locations)
  • Set up warehouse to best facilitate storage and flow.
  • Ability to travel within Canada to manage third party.
  • Sourcing third party logistics.

Equipment Knowledge:

  • Valid forklift license is required.
  • Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with material handling equipment.

Other duties as required:

  • Record shortages and identify and reject damaged goods
  • Pick orders, pack, wrap, stack and label utilizing work orders
  • Use courier software and labels to facilitate daily pickups
  • Manage non-conforming material or equipment through returns process

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS ~ Logistics Coordinator

  • Post-Secondary education in Logistics
  • Forklift operator certification

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS ~ Logistics Coordinator

  • 2 years of working experience in logistics and warehousing
  • Energy/Oil and Gas industry experience is strongly preferred

SKILL REQUIREMENTS ~ Logistics Coordinator

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize and work independently under minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • High adaptability and autonomy
  • Excellent customer orientation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a deadline-oriented and fast-paced team environment with many tasks and demands
  • Self-motivated and driven to obtain profitable and positive results
  • Able to use computer systems for shipping, receiving and inventory control
  • Able to handle weight up to 50lbs
  • Entrepreneurial mindset– Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
