To join our Project Management Team in Montreal, we are currently looking for an Electrical Works Manager. The Electrical Works Manager is responsible for project planning and realization of the electrical infrastructure of ENERCON wind farms, whilst complying with technical, deadline and commercial specifications.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting Sales during the project initiation phase;
  • If necessary, be the contact person for the customer in case of Electrical works-specific matters;
  • Technical advice for the customer and Sales regarding grid-related questions or requirements;
  • Project planning and ensuring execution in compliance with technical standards and connection conditions of the utility;
  • Planning, coordination of deadlines and implementing in the project time schedule;
  • Negotiations with the subcontractors;
  • Coordinating the execution of the electrical infrastructure as well as its documentation (as-built-drawings), taking delivery from the subcontractor and taking over with the customer;
  • Coordinating execution of the work packages during the planning and installation of the turbines;
  • Organizing and coordinating the processes during the connection and commissioning of the turbines in cooperation with the Site Manager - Installation Works.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering;
  • Member of the OIQ;
  • At least 5 years of experience (experience with large construction projects an asset);
  • Willing to travel (approx. 50% of the time);
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English;
  • Good negociator and experienced in dealing with subcontractors.
