The Opportunity:
RETAIL SALES REPRESENTATIVE – OVER-THE-COUNTER DRUG (OTC) - SASKATCHEWAN & MANITOBA (candidate ideally located in Saskatoon)

Position Summary:

Our client, Novartis Consumer Health Inc. is a world leader of self-medication products which enhance health and improve life every day. Your role is to be the product expert! Through your higher-performer personality, you will build rapport and increase recommendation levels on products by educating Retail Pharmacists and Technicians. In order to do this you will need to achieve assigned sales objectives in your defined territory, said differently:
WE need YOU to make sure Novartis’ OTC products OUTSELL the competitors!

What You Will Be Doing Every Day:
Develop and execute your territory’s business plan
Adhere to assigned call targets as communicated by the Regional Business Manager
Communicate and execute marketing and sales strategies in store
Gather and report on field insights
Manage POP, samples and other materials in an effective store level coverage to ensure maximization of promoted products’ sales
Attend various conferences and meetings
Prepare and submit administrative requirements in a quality and timely fashion

Degree/Diploma required (Life Sciences preferred)
Solid communication and presentation skills

Full access to a reliable vehicle
High speed internet with WiFi at home; MS Windows and MS Office
The ability to store some supplies at home and transport them in your vehicle
The ability to travel overnight 2-3 times per month

Your Experience:
You have previous sales experience in retail pharmacy and/or pharmaceutical sales. If not in the retail pharmacy channel, don’t worry, as long as you share the same values, we can teach you all you need to know once you’re on board.
