The Operations Manager provides leadership and is responsible for: Customer Satisfaction, Sales & Revenue, Scheduling, Workforce Planning & Coordinating, Supervising, Training, Cost Control, Consistent and fair application of all Dynacorp’s procedures and practices.
Will develop and implement a yearly fiscal Budget that promotes revenue, profitability, cultural stability and growth for Dynacorp Fabricators.
Will be responsible for presenting monthly financial reports to Senior Management group for interpretation and analysis.
Review operational reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives within Budget and revise objectives and plan in accordance with Senior Management approval.
Oversee Grande Prairie Operations to ensure cost-effective management of resources while maintaining production and client service standards.
Plans, develops, and implements strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the company.
Provides direction & leadership, supports and holds the employees responsible and accountable for meeting their responsibilities, goals, commitments and provides the necessary information and leadership in this regard.
Developing and maintaining production schedule and outlining work expectations to ensure operational efficiency and productivity.
Reviewing and adjusting specific workforce activities and task schedules to meet established production schedules. Will identify and report any scheduling conflicts with senior management and contractors.
Knowing, understanding, communicating and ensuring compliance with the safety regulations, safety policies and procedures of Dynacorp Fabricators.
Encourages and facilitates the application of technology to enable optimum use of resources.
Must be cognizant of the impact of operational decisions made within Grande Prairie Operations and the effect on the operating culture of Dynacorp Fabricators.
Ultimately responsible for client satisfaction with the products and services provided by the Grande Prairie Operation. Will communicate client concerns or dissatisfaction with senior management.
Will evaluate and conduct performance reviews of the Grande Prairie Operations team for accountability with established guidelines, objectives of the business, and role in attaining objectives.
Recommending personnel actions such as hiring, promotions and corrective action. Applying the company’s discipline and corrective action policy where applicable.
Must recruit and select new team members.
Mentor and coach team members towards professional development.
Will represent Dynacorp Fabricators in an ethical and professional manner of oral or written form internally or externally.
Will properly represent Dynacorp Fabricators as a member of the Grande Prairie community.
