As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, layout, and prototyping of electronics and electrical systems, utilized in laboratory and outdoor, industrial environments. Design activities include both analog and digital design. Your documentation skills will be important in the development of design documents as well as supporting the development of user and technical maintenance manuals.
You will have a post secondary degree in Electrical Engineering, a diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology, or an equivalent program and you will have experience in the design and layout of electronic instruments, with specific experience in analog design. Firmware/software development experience on embedded systems is a definite asset.
